Certain special dragons have a sense where they can tell when someone is meant to be their mate. Kirishima is one of these dragons, and he's incredibly to be surprised when his sense tells him that Bakugou is his future mate, a human of all things. They meet when Bakugou is sent to capture and kill Kirishima for King Endeavor, and thus the friendship... and romance of the two begins.

Bakugou's a Tsundere, if he ever had a crush he always felt the need to hurt them, punching, kicking, hitting them, etc. He became like this when 4. He caught his father Masaru beating his mother Mitsuki one night. When Masaru left for work the next morning Bakugou asked Mitsuki why dad hitting her. Mitsuki not wanting to keep her son innocent told him that was how their family showed love or attraction to one another. Bakugou and his innocence little mind thought that was how he was supposed to show love to. Kirishima's a Yandere, when he ever did fall in love he would become incredibly obsessed every moment they spent together and every moment they spent apart. He grew up at a orphanage after both his parents committed suicide and went to a school where most of the orphans were bullied for not having parents. He wanted all the bullies to suffer for hurting his friends. Anytime they would get close he would threaten them while going his switch blade tricks or just beat them up. But as he got older his actions became more and more violent, even going so far as hurting his love interests so they couldn't be with anyone else. Even if it was a person that he never met he wouldn't want anyone near them.
