"The end of one story, is merely the beginning of another." Kubo's story ended when his grandfather became human and was stripped of his memories. That was years ago. Kubo is now seventeen and he still tells stories. But he rarely tells his story. But as Monkey had said, this is just the beginning of another story. (Y/n) is fifteen, almost sixteen. She lives alone with her father as her mother passed when she was little. Her father became an alcoholic after her death, and whenever he can, he will use the money (Y/n) makes to buy more sake. Each day, (Y/n) works a produce cart in the town square. The town was rebuilt and better than ever. More people live there now, so it's now bigger than ever. Because of (Y/n) working, she doesn't really get to hear Kubo's stories. But she's fine with that. Then one night, (Y/n) goes off to Kubo's cave to return something, and she see's him dreaming. It was about a house fire. Later that night, they find out that it was (Y/n)'s house. The fire killed her father, but later they realize who set the fire, and what their intentions were. (Y/n) and Kubo embark on a journey to collect something ancient of high importance to both Kubo's and (Y/n)'s family. They also find out that what Kubo and (Y/n) are searching to protect, is what the people who set the fire really want. And the power Kubo and (Y/n) retrieve to fight, is not nearly as powerful as the power that still grows between the two of them.

All fabricated stories to fill the delicate souls with hope towards a future they could never have. Their minds bloom with pure imagination build from these foundations, only for them to be shot down by reality. Fairy tales are not to be found, they do not come knocking on your door, but rather they must be created and worked towards. Nothing comes to those who sit like a lost princess locked in a tower or a servant girl treated with pure hatred by those meant to care for her. No one can love a lady who lives just for true love, no prince will come save you with a kiss or no magic spells will bring you to happiness. It is you and only you who can be your hero. You must lead yourself to your own fairytale ending. Bumps are not an option but an unavoidable obstacle which you will get over, some may be small hills while others may be mountains but nothing is impossible to get over. However what happens when a young lady, a precious gem to the world, follows a vision. The vision though only showed her approximately where to go and nothing more, no information on what to do or what she would find. And without fail she followed the message, leaving all she knew for something foreign to her. Out of every option in mind she did not think she'd find a small castle out in the middle of the woods, but what filled those walls and the unfamiliar lands around it, what secrets were hidden in the walls and the ground and what would become of her.
