But before he could grab my hand, he's grabbed and flown away with a deranged Norman Osborn. Now, I'm left to die... I close my eyes, preparing myself for my death, but it never comes. As my life began to flash through my eyes, a body collides against mine, making me lose my breath. A pair of strong arms wrap underneath the bottoms of my knees and my upper back. I hear a web zip through the air and attach itself to a nearby metal with a clang. I open my eyes wide, and see the world zooming past me. I scream, then bury my face in the crook of my savior's neck. I throw my arms around their neck, holding tight because my life is in their hands. I catch a glimpse of the familiar red and blue suit, thankful that my Spider-Man has come to my rescue. The falling comes to a halt, and the sinking in my stomach ends as quick as it began. My chest heaves up and down at a rapid pace. I can feel tears prick the corners of my eyes. I lift my head out of the crook of my Spider-Man's neck. I hear my savior breathing heavy, too, and a drop of moisture hits my cheek. I lift my eyes to face a saddened Peter Parker, who's observing me with a look of guilt, adoration, and longing. But my savior is not the Peter Parker from my universe.

When a strange spell sends you hurtling into an alternate universe, you realise your life was a lot better than you'd originally thought. The Spider-Man in this reality had his identity revealed to the world and if that wasn't hard enough he had to fight a ton of over-powered supervillains and menacing monsters from across the multiverse.
