When Zelda tries out for the role of Juliet in the school's Romeo and Juliet, she finds that a large number of girls deign to be Juliet. But when Link, Zelda's crush, lands the role of Romeo, Zelda is stuck as a side character. Link is why so many girls -a few guys too, of course- joined the theatre club this year. But then you've got Zelda. Who is truly loyal to theatre, and just found her luck when Link joined. Although, the girls who are fighting hard for Link have gotten a little annoying, taking her role without real talent. "Everyone gets a turn to play a major role, Zelda. You are the one who earned the role, but the counselor told me I can't give another lead to you until everybody's had one."

A year has passed since the fall of the Calamity Ganon. Things are reliving in the kingdom. Link never took an interest in socializing with other people. He was always going to school and working so he can focus on providing a life for his little sister, Aryll. Zelda, his new neighbor, moved next door to him. He was forced to welcome her and show her around since she didn't know anybody else in the neighborhood. Zelda became someone he got close to. She made him feel comfortable to open up to other people. Link still wasn't interested in dating, but when he got set up on a date, Zelda started to develop feelings for him.
