She realized she had found the religion for her and it made complete sense. She had had a strong connection with nature since birth. She believes in Wicca because it is everything she already believes and more. WICCA La Wicca es una religión neopagana. Desarrollada en Inglaterra durante la primera mitad del siglo XX, la Wicca se popularizó en la década de 1950 y a comienzos de 1960 por Gerald Gardner, quien a la vez llamó a la religión, "culto de las brujas" y "brujería", y a sus seguidores, "la Wica". A partir de la década de 1960, el nombre de la religión se normalizó a "Wicca". A pesar de que en muchos casos y erróneamente, se refiere a la Wicca como sinónimo de 'brujería,' hay también otras tradiciones de brujería que no se identifican ni comparten orígenes con la Wicca. A estas tradiciones de brujería se les llama brujería tradicional y algunos ejemplos de estas son la brujería Anderson Feri, Clan de Tubal Caín, Cultus Sabbati, entre otros. En el idioma anglosajón o inglés antiguo, el término wicca fue usado para referirse a los hechiceros varones, mientras que wicce se utilizaba hacia las colegas femeninas.
