When an accident causes Griffin Rock to accidentally be teleported to Cybertron, they are stuck under the protection of the dome as the Rescue Bots struggle to find a way to return everyone home safely-and tell them that they're actually aliens from the planet they're stranded on. To make things worse, the dome that is protecting them from Cybertron's toxic atmosphere is only able to do so for so long. When the Rescue Bots find a way to contact Team Prime, the Autobots come to their aid, adding even more confusion to the citizens of Griffin Rock. Pasts may be revealed, old friends reunited, some friends lost, and, as if the situation isn't bad enough, the Decepticons become aware of the situation. With Griffin Rock stranded on the home planet of the Cybertronians with no way back home, they truly are: Prisoners on Cybertron.
