What would have happened if the others kept bullying Virgil? Long answer short; A nightmare. Virgil grew bitter, and finally his anger took over. Maybe if he fit in more with the others things would be better, but he wasn't going to change anytime soon. It seemed the only answer was to change the others. This takes place somewhere after "Accepting Anxiety". A nameless boy had a best friend when he was 7. He would sneak out of the orphanage he lived in just to meet up with him. Despite how young they were, a little crush started forming. However, one day, the nameless boy was finally adopted. Excitedly, he ran to meet up with his friend and tell the news, but he never showed up. A couple days later, his disappearance was reported on the news. Devastated, the nameless boy slowly fell into a depressive state. When he started middle school, people would refer to him as "emo". He never really grew out of it, even 20 years after his friend went missing. He never talked, only drew. By no logical reason would Logan (logic) and Patton (Morality) ever be considered friends let alone anything more than that. In high school people stick to their own groups: nerds or geeks, jocks, musicians, artists, skateboarders, you name it! Nobody ever breaks form their group and mingles with another. Logan is one said geek, although, he never really talks to others much and would much prefer to be reading or conducting one of his many experiments. Patton is one of, if not the, nicest kid in school. He's the one always sitting at the long table at lunch happily asking you to donate your extra change to whatever charity was decided for that day. He only had a few close friends, but people tend to flock to him because of his cheerful personality. What happens when these two completely opposite people start to spend some time together? Logan moved to LA for his PhD, not at all looking for his soulmate. He's never been interested in love, as the longer he can stay on this earth, the more knowledge he can obtain, and knowledge is really all he cares about.
