"We all wear masks, and the time comes when we cannot remove them without removing some of our own skin." - André Berthiaume. Unfortunately, when the Invisible Hand calls himself a super villain, he means it. He is totally, irrevocably, 100% evil. Even though he does stupid things to get a girl to laugh... Even though he took her to Iceland to see the Northern Lights... Even though he saved her life not once, but twice... He still dropped her off the Chrysler Building and left her to die. That girl was me. "Wait, so you don't have a superpower? How'd you even get into the school?" I coughed nervously. "I recommend myself." "That's so sad. A hero with no powers is literally just a cop." "No. A hero with no powers makes me Batman." ================== Fabel-Lizbeth Duior doesn't have a superpower like every other human on Earth. She was born with no aberration. Not to mention, her dad is a notorious villain. Seeking for a way to prove herself, she enrolled herself into the International Aberration Hero High School. There, she finds people of many superpowers; making her a misfit even more than she already was. With the wrath of Super villains targeting the school and her to stop the creation of superheroes, Fable must find out how to be a hero; powers or none; to free her city from the grasp of the villains who wish to destroy it, maybe even finding a superpower even greater than history has recorded. ==================

[Formerly Featured!] Coming back from a vacation, with a gun pointed at her head was definitely not what Jean Saunders expected. Especially seeing a man flying around in the air, claiming to be the city's superhero. At least he wasn't wearing that embarrassing spandex outfit. Alas, due to her capability for getting into trouble, the city's superhero eventually recognises her and not in a good way, at all. Catching a superhero's attention is never a good thing. -------------------------- Opening and closing his mouth, he made some gestures as if he was trying to speak but he couldn't find the words to convey his message. "...what are you?" He finally managed to speak and I blinked my eyes at him. The heck? Does he think I am some sort of...alien? It's not like I'm some kind of weird species! What the heck does he think I am? "I'm human!" I said, narrowing my eyes at him. --------------------------

[EXCERPT - FIRST 5 CHAPTERS] THE FULL BOOK IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE IN STORES AND ONLINE! Never trust a guy in spandex. In Abby Hamilton's world, superheroes do more than just stop crime and save cats stuck in trees - they also drink milk straight from the carton and hog the television remote. Abby's older brother moonlights as the famous Red Comet, but without powers of her own, following in his footsteps has never crossed her mind. That is, until the city's newest vigilante comes bursting into her life. After saving Abby from an attempted mugging, Morriston's fledgling supervillain Iron Phantom convinces her that he's not as evil as everyone says - and that their city is under a vicious new threat. As Abby follows him deeper into their city's darkest secrets, she comes to learn that heroes can't always be trusted, and sometimes it's the good guys who wear black.

Join two unlikely heroes on a strange, nonsensical, humorous and occasionally epic quest to retrieve an ancient magical artifact! The disillusioned and reluctant 'Grand' Wizard Harrold is joined by his mostly incompetent and annoyingly optimistic friend, Patricklus the Great. Together they encounter the strangest problems and device even stranger solutions. Krakens will be fought, people will die from defenestration and other similarly horrible causes, fish will fly in through the window, Gods will get angry and floors will be floors. Oh, and there's also a murder mystery in there somewhere.

Crime-solving with eccentric aristocrats. Chasing dragons through the sky. Grisly murders in an opera house. Tallison didn't expect all this to happen her senior year, but when your school's founder is the one dragging you off on adventures, it can be hard to say no. *Feedback appreciated* Barrowby's School for Psychic Girls is an episodic fantasy steampunk adventure novel. In an ideal world, it would be a wacky cartoon, but you'll just have to survive me writing it instead. As always, feel free to comment on what you like, dislike, and think could be improved! Special thanks to @Herogue_Knight!

[COMPLETED] My grandmother is a witch. My mother is a witch. My sisters are witches. Even my daddy is a warlock when he's not moonlighting as a rat (a consequence of the aforementioned grandmother's temper). So you would think I would be a witch too, right? Nope. Not a spark of magic resides in my fingertips, and even worse, I'm beginning to think I'm allergic to magic. Kind of a big problem when you live in the middle of the most magical town in Mississippi. I'm just biding my time until I turn eighteen. Then, I can pack my bags and move out into the real world- with the normal humans. Until then, I just have to survive my grandmother's experiments, my sister's nasty temper, and the charms of the town's bad boy, Ash Goodwin. Easy...ier said than done.
