When people die, most expect the typical run of the mill experience. Ya know, the light at the end of the tunnel, the flashing memories, maybe all consuming darkness or the burning flames of hell, depending on your preference. I'm not sure what I was expecting. Guess I never really thought about it. But, I'm definitely certain that a ghost-train waiting to deliver the unfortunate passenger to their afterlife isn't that run of the mill experience everybody was expecting. Then again, neither was seeing demons, fae and every other kind of supernatural for the entirety of my life. In fact, I'm such a special brand of freak that when my train doesn't show, even Death himself and his other scythe wielding goons don't know what to do with me. Yep, like I said, definitely not the everyday ghost-train passenger.

In a world where everybody's life is marked on their skin, I'm the blank canvas. The unmarked. The untraceable. In my world, everybody's skin is stamped with art depicting their life to date. Each time a major event happens, another tattoo appears on their skin. The ultimate tracer to see if you've committed a crime or to identify your flaws and weaknesses. Except for me. I'm the anomaly that doesn't quite fit the trend. And this is what make me useful to them. I'm the person who can be anywhere at anytime, and you'll never have known if I decided to strike or wait for another victim to stroll on past. I'm the snake that hides, shedding my skin, the ultimate weapon, a Viper. I'm an agent of Blood Ink, but recently the agency, the closest thing I have to a family, is putting me and my team in more dangerous situations with every mission. And now, with a new agency urging for me to join their side in this war, things are starting look like I might have been on the wrong side all along. I'll do anything to save the lives of my team members, even if it means making hard choices for us all.
