Sometimes you need just one person to make all the difference in the world. And even better if you get a whole family of them. Zach's been living in his car for a month now. He has nowhere to go, no job and his money is starting to run out. Life has been rough on him, growing up in an abusive home and later in life becoming the center of a vile man's attention. Just as he thinks his life is never getting better, he meets the charming business owner Dean. Zach is a broken boy and has nothing to offer to a successful businessman who's so handsome he could be on a magazine cover. But life has a way of putting the right person in your path even if you didn't know you were on the one. This is a finished, full length (80k words), slow burn romance about learning to trust, falling in love and healing after life has beaten you down. !Trigger warning: This story deals with child neglect, child abuse, domestic violence and rape. I wasn't overly descriptive about these situations, but they are still a big part of the story. !Explicit sexual scene. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, locales, and incidents are either the products of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

Luca Bakker, a football jock with haunted eyes and a pretty Dutch accent. And Theodore Hart, a shy kid from school who works at the local pet shop. The idea that the two could ever cross paths - let alone build any sort of relationship - was almost laughable. And yet, here we are. Laughing away.

Minion is a regular guy: he's got a wife, a kid, and an app ruined his career as a henchman. Being a villain's sidekick used to be a good job: risky, sure, but well-paying and with top-notch life insurance. But Henchr has brought the tech revolution to the supervillain business. Now it's uncertain schedules and no worker's comp. No villain is evil enough to have dreamt up the gig economy. After one too many jobs gone wrong, Minion decides to retire. This is fine. His self-worth isn't tied to his job. But it is a little humiliating when his wife starts talking about going back to work as the supervillain Dominatrix, a career she retired from a decade ago. And now their daughter is dating a girl that Minion suspects goes out at night in a mask - as a hero, no less. Only a supervillain can sort out Minion's problems, but he can't ask his wife when she's, well, part of the problem. There's only one thing to do: it's time for Minion to become Villain. REMOVED April 9, 2024 One notorious gay heartbreaker. One homophobic ex-best friend and his kleptomaniac brother. Mix in a sex tape, commitment issues, and some explosive chemistry. The illusion of Dreyden's perfect life can't survive this disaster. ***** Dreyden is very good at being who others wants him to be. He's an obedient, church-going son, a perfect student, the life of every party. Maintaining the equilibrium means staying in the closet at home, so it's lucky his parents don't suspect a thing when he lies. When others are happy, it's easy to forget that he isn't. After one drunk night gets out of control, Dreyden dumps his loving boyfriend rather than admit to what he did. Adrift and increasingly alienated from his friends, he finds himself sucked into Orion's dysfunctional orbit. Orion has a habit of taking things that don't belong to him, but what's worse is his angry, homophobic brother, who used to be Dreyden's best friend. Bad habits might be harder to escape than the gravity of unwanted feelings, but maybe Dreyden's equilibrium isn't as stable as he pretends. And maybe Orion is about to disrupt it all, whether Dreyden is ready or not. It's just a shame that bad people don't get happy endings. ***** Contains sexual content, profanity, underage substance use, and themes of consent, mental health, homophobia, and coming out. *featured on Wattpad's "Stories to Read OUT Loud" list* Complete at 137k words.

But when he meets star athlete Ryan Sullivan in therapy, can friendship lead to more? ***** When Andrew 'Jacky' Jennings ends up in therapy after an English assignment gone wrong, he doesn't expect to find his high school's star athlete, Ryan Sullivan, sitting in the same waiting room. After all, he and Ryan couldn't be more different: football captain, future valedictorian, and all-around nice guy, Ryan is the school's golden boy, while Andrew is known for his permanent snarl, being openly gay, and losing his left arm (along with his father and sister) in a car accident. But when Andrew learns they actually have a lot in common, he's surprised to see past the enigma that is Ryan Sullivan and his seemingly perfect life. Dresden Gibson never left. But that's not the story he's telling. [sequel to The Art of Moving On] It's five years later, and though time has a way of making all pain feel less prominent, the pain that sits right under Dres's ribcage, the one tied to the buried words, and regret like a cold sweat on his palms, hasn't changed at all. Hasn't subsided or dulled throughout the years. Dresden regrets a lot of things. He'll never regret anything more than the way he ended his relationship with Cas those years ago. That's a pain, he thinks, he'll carry with him always. So he keeps the letters, and the memories; he lets them plague him on the long nights because it's what he deserves. When the opportunity arises to make things right, Dres takes it. He owes Cas that much. Even if the boy who's heart he broke years ago doesn't want a single thing to do with him. (And he doesn't)
