He's the wide receiver of the football team and he is classified as a 'bad boy' at school, he can be known to drink a lot at parties but doesn't get into drugs. His home life is complicated. His parents don't love one another and instead hate each other's guts but refuse to get a divorce. Both are set in their ways and believe their way is the only way. They weren't rich, which is why Reed attends public school. He, too, was known throughout the town but more because of his parents. He is recognized for his athletic abilities but as an afterthought of his parents. These two boys were rivals. However, when they attend the same football camp during the summer, things begin to change between them. They were forced to room together, and you can't spend two months with someone and not have your relationship change. As this relations blossoms, the rivalry fades away and a new feeling begins to take over, one of love.
