The story begins with the characters of Julie Redwing and Miguel Mile living in a city surrounded by a wall to shelter them from the disease that spread throughout the entire world. Only a few million of those that believed the announcement of the new found disease to be real have survived and took shelter in the walls that have been built for shelter.
