In your sleepy little town, there are bills to be paid, tables to be waited, and few to no adventures to be found. So when two skeleton monsters move into the empty house near the café where you work, you welcome the changes they bring with them. You knew if you let them into your life they'd make interesting friends. What you didn't expect was that getting to know these remarkable strangers would be like coming home.

Severing the link between the two species, an all out war breaks between humans and monsters. After bloodshed on both sides, monsters emerge victorious. Yet somehow a miraculous town in San Francisco has evaded the warfare and even has an orderly society. And despite everything, Sans keeps encountering a girl who has saved his life one too many times. When your fate and Sans' intertwine, it becomes apparent that the relationship between the two of you extend beyond this timeline. You are plagued with memories of a distant life and Sans begins to hallucinate visions of a not so distant past. Insanity seems to be eating away at the two of you and it's only a matter of time before someone cracks.

And with humans and monsters so scarce after a nuclear war that ravaged the planet, they cannot afford anymore losses. All at once, at the wrong place at the wrong time, a human finds themselves thrown into the midst, and the fate of the planet may rest in their hands.

Sans has lived through countless timelines. He's seen the kid make friends with everyone, only to give up in the final moments. He's seen the kid killed, over and over and over again. Sometimes, he'd even done the killing himself. And no one ever remembers. Not even the kid herself. It's an exhausting cycle, one that never seems to end. But there's something different about this run. Another human's fallen down... the kid's sister.
