Nico Di Angelo and Will Solace have been dating for two years. Will is Seventeen, and Nico is Sixteen, but they're both in 11th grade. Nico decides to move to a small town in Nebraska to be closer to his boyfriend, but what he doesn't know is that Will's friends at his school are so weird...

Nico Di Angelo's school is taking the whole junior year on a trip to Greece. Following the no gender mingling school policy, Nico groups with his best buds Percy Jackson and Jason Grace. All is well and good before Will Solace joins their bubble. Nico gets a strange, tingly, ticklish feeling in his stomach when he's around Will. It doesn't help when they have to pair off to explore the Parthenon and Percy and Jason take off, leaving Nico alone with Will. It also doesn't help when the two boys decide to share a bed at the hotels. Nico hasn't had an easy life. His father abandoned him, his mother died, and then his sister met the same fate. However, things have recently gotten worse: his boyfriend has turned abusive. Nico lives in constant fear. Then Nico meets Will. Will helps Nico, and shows him that his life doesn't have to be a living hell. It takes a while, but slowly, Nico starts to believe him. Unfortunately, just as they are just starting to relax, things go horribly wrong. Mortal AU completed, but i'm editing it check the first chapter (the a/n) for trigger warnings.

Nico is a thief, and Will is a prince, and they are very doomed. Really, it probably started when Nico robbed the king. Or maybe when he winked at the prince from across the marketplace. Or maybe when he orchestrated thrilling castle escapes, humiliating the royal family and guard without so much as breaking a sweat. Or, maybe it was just when he first noticed that Prince William is incredibly handsome. Yeah, that's probably what doomed them, actually--because after that, any hope of living relatively normal lives flew completely out the carriage window.
