After being assigned as permanent partners in a class, the pair (who aren't very fond of each other) find themselves growing closer over a rumor, a fake relationship, and their common struggle with abuse and family issues. "she was supposed to be a bet." ira-reice has been waiting for her big break, and now she has it. in the form of managing social media accounts of an american football team, the new york giants. but, this job is not what she exactly signed up for. her contract is signed in ink, involving the fact that she can't participate in any sexual relationships/activities with the players. for her that's the easy part. odell beckham jr is a wide-receiver for the new york giants and the second most important person on the team. he can get any woman he wants, wherever he wants. what woman wouldn't want to sleep with him? the bet is put over a course of a month, but odell is planning on sealing the deal in a week. except, what he didn't plan on, was seeing the woman underneath as tough as nails exterior or the feelings that came with it. odell didn't know that ira was everything he wanted and the team is banking on him to get rid of her, just like the others. can he convince her to give him a chance, or will ira find out the meaning of this sick joke?

Riley Goode is an entertainment reporter for Associated Press. Her first big story is to cover the fight of the year in Vegas involving undefeated heavy weight champion, Yasir Belair. Riley's best friend, Lena convinces her to live just for the night and to cross something off of her bucket list: to bed the bad boy of boxing. Chris Anthony is the Wide Receiver of the New York Giants. He is known as one of the best at his position, just recently coming off the high of winning a Super Bowl. As cocky, self-centered, and occasionally immature he was, women flocked to him like flies and he was perfectly fine with it. The media dubbing him as a ladies man and trouble maker. He wasn't looking to settle down and he definitely didn't want kids. His lifestyle did not permit it and neither was he ready for it. Celine, on the other hand, has recently began to crave for those things after seeing her younger sister, Nadia, get engaged and have a kid of her own. After turning down Chris' advances on multiple occasions, Celine finally agrees on an offer to spend one night with him. After that she'd hope to never see him again.
