Griffin's life has been mundane and ordinary. No matter how much he seeks to change his circumstances, nothing seems to bring color to his world of gray. The only solace he has ever found has been in the pages of his favorite fantasy novel, Nevermore, where an ordinary boy can become a hero. But Griffin is not in Nevermore, nor is he a boy any longer. Drudging through the daily tedium of adult life, Griffin meets a beautiful, yet mysterious, young woman and learns that there is more to his life than he previously thought. In the blink of an eye, he is transported back to the world he once called home...a world that calls him villain. Navigating love and friendship, Griffin must reconcile who he was before, with who he has become, and learn that sometimes being the hero of a story is simply a matter of perspective.
