Unknown to Frollo, Bella has been sneaking out of the cathedral, ever since she was a young child, making friends with the gypsies, Frollo so despises. When a new Captain of the guard arrives on the scene, Bella finds herself in love for the first time, her brother has also found love in the gypsy girl, Esmeralda. When Frollo finds out he calls for Captain Phoebus and Esmeralda to be executed. Bella will do all she can, to save the man she loves, but as she spends more time with the gypsies, she begins to remember more about her past, and Frollo will do anything in his power, to make sure that she never finds out what really happened to her mother...
