Siera Black has lived a very unremarkable and poor life. At 11 years old she gets the letter from Hogwarts, telling her she's a witch. Still, nothing changes until her fifth year, when a man with the same last name as her is on the loose...and after Harry Potter, a close friend of hers! She makes it her own personal responsibility to protect him with help from his best friends, Ron and Hermione, and Siera's best friends Fred, George, and Ginny she hopes to save her friend. Therefore, she has no friends in other houses because she is a Slytherin, and no friends in Slytherin because she is Muggle-born. Not to mention, the constant, narcissistic drone of Draco Malfoy is hellbent on letting her know why she doesn't belong in the Slytherin picture. But, in Iris's fifth year, the Ministry of Magic brings in a reign of terror and lies into Hogwarts. All Iris wants to do is fight for what's right and prove that the Ministry is telling lies about the Dark Lord's return. But will Harry Potter and his friends reject her pleas to join them because of her clashing backgrounds? Or will they let her fight alongside them, despite the green emblem on her chest?
