In this book Katniss and Peeta have two kids. When Katniss is pregnant again she is joyful because she knows her kids are safe. Safe from rebellions, wars, and most importantly, the games. Peeta always told her " There are no games, and you have every right to worry, but please don't their not coming back." Peeta is no liar, but that sentence is false. And the president, Snows granddaughter, hates Katniss and Peeta.

When Katniss discovers she's pregnant with Peeta Mellarks child she doesn't want to tell him. When he finds out, he gets angry with Katniss. But what did she do wrong? Will Peeta stay mad at her forever? Will she keep the baby? Most of all, is Peeta and Katniss still the star crossed lovers from district 12? Will she ever kill Snow? Will the Games ever end?
