~High school AU in which they all look different for everyone's sake!~ Logan Sanders has never believed in romance. In fact, he always rejected the idea of falling in love. Then Virgil came along, and he began to question everything he knew - or thought he knew. Relatively slow burn Analogical with fluff, angst, swearing throughout (mostly from Virgil) and potentially poorly portrayed panic attacks, amongst other things. (Also, I know the title of this is a Paramore song... I got the idea for this story listening to the song.)

Other's might simply say a difference in powers. Fire powers are weak to water and the like. But what if I told you it was nothing like that? What if I told you their true weakness is there own humanity? They may be villains but they still are human. They care for something or someone. Everyone does. Their own emotions cause moments of weakness in times where they need strength. Deception is an up and coming villain that no one knows anything about. He's strong and prideful. Everyone fears him and wants them on their side. Who doesn't want the strongest villain behind them? Cassidy Rhodes is shy awkward outsider in college. He has no clue what he wants from life. He has no idea where he goes from here. He's just going through life pushing through for no particular reason. These two people are polar opposites. Ones strong... the other is not. Ones confident and outgoing... the other not. One is taking what he wants in life... the other frozen in place. The thing is... there the same fucking person.

I re-read this recently and I'm just UGHH! I'm going to rewrite this whole thing, so if you want the better version, feel free to read that later on when I publish it. Description: Virgil goes to the cemetery on Halloween to grieve, but soon finds himself surrounded by 4 monsters who all apparently want to be his friends. However, Virgil only wants to have a normal life without gaining any unwanted attention. How can he do that with 4 monsters constantly shadowing him?
