She often wonders if she will forever be alone with her fellow Trollhunter in this responsibility. But when her comrade is killed, she wonders if this was part of the curse on her, to lose those close to her. But now another Trollhunter has been chosen, but this time he is a human, the first pure human Trollhunter! Monica 'Moon' Lake is Jim's older sister, a sister that ran away just after she turned 17 (a few months before his 11th birthday so they are 6 years apart in age).
