Taking place after the Mountain scene, Jaskier travels back down the mountain, running into a mage, opting to relive him of his pain. Heartbroken and numb, he agrees. His eyes flashed blue, and he was gone. Or was he?

Jaskier is in love with Geralt, but Geralt can't seem to let go of Yennefer. In an act of desperation, Jaskier wishes to forget both the witcher and the mage. However, destiny has other plans as she brings them back together...

Imagining for one moment that the world wasn't always ending and Geralt had never met Yennifer, had never found his 'destiny' and was just a Witcher, day to day, killing for a pay check. What would happen if he met Jaskier under these circumstances? Well, i guess you'll have to read to find out.
