I have no idea what to name this story so . . . Yeah let's go with that. Kuroko gets a demon like everyone else in his family and he is badass and fights corrupted demons with his demon sidekick/weapon. What will happen when his basketball team finds out? Other Note: Having finished this book, my plans went a totally different direction and Kuroko isn't actually that badass. Sorry if you were expecting that but it didn't turn out that way. After winning the Winter Cup, Kuroko has been severely injured. Kagami and the GoM don't think that this is an accident. They think that this was purposely planned and they are trying to figure out why. Once Kuroko gets out of the hospital, they are informed that his parents have been murdered. Suspicious, the crew asks Kuroko some questions and he is resisting. Does he really have something to hide?

Merfolk are hunted to extinction and pirates rule the seas. Kuroko is a mermen that has never changed, instead living in hiding as a human with his uncle. The ocean calls to him but his fear of it is strong after it claimed the life of his parents. After a mistake Kuroko finds himself on the run and somehow in the hands of the most ruthless pirate crew to sail the seas. Stuck between the hunters, the Merfolk, his fear of the sea and his ever growing feelings of attraction towards the captain how will he survive and what kind of life will he choose?
