200 years later, the forest has regrown and a city has been built up around it but people still hold onto their old fear of the forest and the monsters living in it. At sixteen years old you have never been afraid and when given the chance to enter the forest you jump at the oppurtunity, completely unaware of the consequences awaiting you inside. This is book 3 in the series but it can be read without prior knowledge of the other two books.
