Maya is a down on her luck maid who happens to catch the eye of the handsome Peter O'Toole, one of New York Cities richest bachelors. Brazenly flouting societal conventions he asks her to marry him and she, of course, accepts. As she begins her new life of luxury and priviledge she begins to suspect that the family is not quite what they seem. Maya covertly investigates the family and the secrets she uncovers both horrify and drive her to continue digging. Now if only the handsome gardener would stop trying to distract her.
