As the zombie apocalypse quickly spread over Savannah, Nick and his family couldn't get out in time, resulting in the death of his beloved wife, leaving him and his eight-year-old daughter to think this was the end, but not until running into a group of three with one person standing out to Nick more than the others. Even in a group that cares for them, Nick will do whatever it costs to protect his daughter.

Ellis and his friends Rochelle, Nick, and Coach have been fighting for their lives since the zombie apocalypse has started. After the bridge blows up in New Orleans and they safely get into the helicopter, the four find themselves at a military base in a secure area in Louisiana with other survivors. Seeing three familiar faces, Zoey, Louis, and Francis, it seems they might be able to settle down and not have to worry about the zombies coming after them for once. However, Ellis soon gets these weird feelings when he is around Nick. His heart flutters, he stutters on his words, different things he never noticed due to the adrenaline of killing zombies. Will Ellis's school-girl crush on Zoey last, or will another form of love rise through the blood and guts? (Currently editing and still creating chapters! I first started writing this when I was 14, so grammar and such is not that good in the first few chapters. However, please read on and enjoy the story!!!)
