One day, in his favorite library, he finds himself recommending books to none other than Hermione Granger. A few years later the same thing is repeated, only to have some very different consequences. Follow the story of Draco Malfoy chasing his dream girl, convincing her that he is madly in love with her and worthy of her love. Oh, did I mention there are a lot of library scenes?! After the war, the wizarding population has been decreasing and is at its lowest point ever recorded in history. The Ministry takes action and creates the Marriage Law. Soon-to-be 18 year old Francesca is most commonly known as Checka. She grew up without a home and knowing nothing about her deceased mother. Well aware that she will never be adopted before she reaches adulthood, she is surprised when she receives a letter from her grandmother. Francesca is suddenly whisked away into a life she never even imagined. She discovers that she is descended from a line of royalty and is expected to rule a country she has no knowledge over. It isn’t an easy task as she learns that she has to win the crown in a battle against two other lines of royalty. Her checkered past is not good material to rely on when trying to be a princess. Almost on cue, the girls popped into the kitchen and Draco handed the glasses to them. Ginny poured wine into both of them, almost filling them to the brim. "Uh..." Ron started. "Maybe you shouldn't drink that much." Ginny glared at him. "Hermione and I nearly died today, for the second time this month. Shut up."
