Thomas always thought that this would be the end of the shucking story. Escape the Maze, survive the Scorch, defeat W.C.K.D, and get to the Safe Haven. But nope. Nada. Nil. Because if it was, he wouldn't be taken by the FBI (although taken is a strong word--he went pretty willingly with Agent Asshole), plopped into good ol' Beacon Hills with his memories back, which nobody still knows how the shuck happened, and left to deal with the McCall pack. Seriously, what is his life? At least he has the Survivors. That makes this whole shucking wreck easier to deal with. [This book is ongoing/a work in progress. Perhaps we are just kings, Who once were promised gold. Perhaps we are just boys, Who never got to grow old. Perhaps we are just men, Sent to fight in somebody's war. Perhaps we are not anything, Though we once were something more. "We're so distracted by how things end, we usually forget how beautiful the beginning was. Ours was beautiful, don't you think?" This is their story. It's the story of four boys who were promised the world; it's the story of their reign and their demise, with no distractions at all. It's the story of how gold doesn't shine forever, and how youth is only temporary. It's the story of a war and a life that took everything from four boys who gave their all. This is the story of The Marauders.

A one-shot showing, through snippets and explosions, the evolution of Sirius Black's love for Remus Lupin. oo*oo And Sirius Black had watched Remus Lupin live. He had seen his life in snippets and in full, blown out explosions. He had seen him as a scarred and nervous child, fading away on his first night at Hogwarts, and as a free-spirited boy, racing down hallway after hallway, his laughter peeling behind him. He had seen Remus as a werewolf, a self-proclaimed monster that was really no more monstrous than he, himself. He had seen him as a top student, as a prefect, as a Best Man, as a best friend, as a soldier. Sirius had seen Remus Lupin's stars and constellations, he had bared every inch of him and kissed every scar. He had watched him live the most extraordinary of extraordinary lives. And Sirius knew, that he was the most privileged human in the world for it.

MAY CONTAIN TRIGGERING CONTENT. BE AWARE 🐺⭐️ Remus Lupin was no ordinary child, obviously. No normal child had flowers growing out of their skin. No normal child had flowers depending on them to eat and drink properly and get enough sun. You see, Remus Lupin was a human-plant hybrid. The first to be exact. It was something that Lyall and Hope Lupin had spent their lives work creating. Many trials had failed, none of them working out quite right - all of them had died in the end. The goal was to create a human that didn't need to eat or drink because they would be able to photosynthesize. But it didn't work, instead they had created a human with flowers growing out of him. And those flowers all depended on him, the opposite of what they wanted to happen. He was a healthy boy nonetheless and they could not bring themselves to get rid of the progress they made with this one. This one experiment that they had actually somewhat gotten right. All evidence and knowledge is valuable, especially when it comes to the research and experiments that created Remus Lupin. It's something that others can't seem to recreate, or at least not without Remus. They need him in order to take another step forward in human biology. But no one knows where he is. To add to it, there are a lot of people willing to pay a lot of money, just for a hair on his head. 🐺⭐️ My inspiration for this comes from JK Rowling's Marauders, the book called The Gardener, my friend's art, a couple of tumblr posts, and my own ideas.
