Though having said girl leave him for that same friend is a close second. While Becca and Creed flaunt their hot romance in his face every chance they get, Zane struggles to move on with the haunting thought of his first love becoming someone else's siren. Especially when Becca keeps him dangling on a line of "what ifs". Out of all of this, the only ray of light to help him now is his childhood best friend, Olivia. Ollie is wild, carefree, and a little reckless. But she's also a much-needed dose of sunshine, positivity, and hope. Though as they've gotten older, Ollie's grown into a woman with looks to die for and a light that Zane can't live without. To him, it's best to never cross that line or imagine the possibilities that linger in the back of his mind. Even if Ollie sometimes looks at him as if she'd give him the moon and the stars if she could. Refusing to see what's right in front of his face, Zane focuses on the girl who hurt him and still plays with his head. That is until one night Zane breaks his own rules and suddenly can't think of anything besides Ollie's sinful body beneath him and the way her eyes seared his soul. But with his ex not happy about his shift in attention and Ollie slowly slipping away after he's hurt her one too many times, Zane might have to finally face his true feelings and stop hiding behind an attraction that's only skin deep. He just better hope he can decide before it's too late and he loses the light of his life, and possible future siren, forever. {Cover made by" @charlottemallory }

Randall Cashe, a mechanical and electrical engineer, joins a team of scientists in a Mars-mission habitat hoping to rake in a massive payday. Their goal: to produce their own air, water, and food while testing the building with simulated disasters. When the outside world succumbs to a lethal airborne pandemic, the hermetically-sealed structure is suddenly the safest place on earth. As tensions among the group of scientists rise, Cashe has every intention to not only survive, but thrive. After all, why would he let a world-wide apocalypse and a few murders prevent him from making a profit? The parts I publish initially will be 90% where I want them to be. Feel free to criticize anything.
