Patton has always been seen as the fatherly figure in Thomas' array of personalities.
Sure his puns aren't that witty, and he isn't the one for all the faults, but Patton plays a big role in Thomas' life.
He is in charge of Thomas' Morality. The judgment for right and wrong.
But he is also the one who cares so much for the others.
Logan, Thomas' Logic, is often Patton's argument whenever they clash ideas or thoughts.
Roman, Thomas' Creativity, is sometimes riled up by Patton's jokes and puns. Although Roman often enjoys the compliments.
Virgil, Thomas' Anxiety, mostly known as Patton's 'dark strange son'. This is because Patton has a different way of seeing Virgil.
A more... fatherly way.
To each of them.
