After saving Cardin from the Ursa, Jaune thought that things would go back to normal but no. Cardin, angered at his humiliation, decided to expose Jaune's transcripts to the whole school causing everyone minus Ozpin, the rest of team JNPR, CFVY, RWBY to turn against him. Soon after, he's disowned by his father and made to give up his weapons. Later, Ozpin is pressured into expelling Jaune from Beacon by Cardin's parents who are members of the Vale council. Fortunately, Ironwood saw the same potential that Ozpin saw in the boy and managed to get him a place at Atlas Academy, Unfortunately due to how hated he was in Vale at the moment meant that Jaune had to head to a different town to hitch a ride, this mean he had to go through Death Forest once again. Heading into the woods, Jaune ended up facing a pack of Beowolves only for him to fall into a mysterious cave where a mysterious Katana hovered in the middle. This is where his story truly begins.
