After a tiresome mission Wally tries to rest, but when his father comes home it all goes wrong.

Artemis Crock is the new prison guard at Belle Reve Penitentiary, the criminal housing unit for metahumans. She knew her job would be hard, but she never expected to fall for one of her captives, a young, hotheaded and wildcard criminal, the son of the Reverse Flash, Black Velocity. When she is personally put in charge of finding the villain, after he escapes single handedly, all of her morals are put to the test, and she must make the difficult decision whether to do as told, or lose everything to stand alongside Black Velocity. Will Artemis risk everything, just to learn more about the criminal behind the mask, and who he truly is, and to maybe, just maybe, fall in love with him? (Loads of angst writing ahead in later chapters...proceed with a possible tissue) Disclaimer: I obviously do not own Young Justice, but Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman do! {COMPLETED} ~~~ Artemis' hugest wish and biggest dream comes true, when Wally, her once thought to be dead boyfriend, is found alive, but is incredibly hypothermic and malnourished, in the Arctic, about a thousand miles from the site he was seen as gone. When they see each other though, and Artemis begins to talk with her lost love, she realizes, or rather learns, that he has amnesia, and can't remember her or the team at all! When Wally begins to act strangely aggressive and not like himself, Artemis learns he has a psychological disorder, caused by the Speedforce. The time comes, and Artemis left with a choice: help her true love remember her and the Team, or watch him become isolated in a psychological ward. What will her choice be? Will she finally let go of her past, and let herself become the person she was meant to be? Will she do what she can to unite the Team, despite its crumbling walls and members?
