"I just don't understand, Chat. I thought...all this time...," she clenched her fists at her sides and stared up at him, "What changed?" Chat Noir stepped closer, pinning her against the railing of her balcony. The moonlight highlighted the dark ridges of his mask and his green eyes shone through the dark leather, as equally enticing and mesmerizing as they'd been that night they danced on the Eiffel Tower. "I'm a cat, Mari." he whispered. He wrapped his arms around her waist and the heat from his body made her shiver in the cold. She pressed her palms against his chest and his warm breath ruffled her fringe. Chat offered her a small smile, her heart hammering in her chest. "And sometimes..." he dipped his head down to hers. "We cats tend to stray." ~~~ While out one night in the park, Chat Noir finds Marinette and tries to escort her home safely. But she's injured protecting him from an akuma and he feels responsible for her. Intent on making it up to her, Chat Noir visits her regularly to make sure she's doing well. But it doesn't take long before their meetings become more than just casual check-ups. Bad things happen when superheroes fall for civilians, but even with the threat of Hawk Moth looming around, Chat can't seem to stay away. Will the risks be worth it in the end? Plagg was bored. He was just sitting in Adrien's bag with absolutely nothing to do. He was just about to fall asleep when he smelled cheese. He couldn't pass this up, besides Adrian wouldn't miss him for five minutes. The smell was coming from the girl who sat behind Adrien bag. He secretly went into the bag to find a cheese croisant. He ate it happily and suddenly felt very tired. 'I'll just sleep for a few minutes. Adrien won't miss me for five minutes' he thought. The next thing he knew, he woke up to something petting his head. The girl had picked him up. He quickly flew into the air and took a look at his surroundings, he was no longer in the class. This story is inspired after watching the episode Miracle Queen, this is my take on what I think and want to happen next. (Spoilers in the description if you haven't watched Miracle Queen.) After seeing Adrien and Kagami grow closer and seem to be falling for each Marinette starts to wonder if she should let go of her feelings for Adrien and to move on. As long as Adrien is happy, as long they treat each other right. Though when she cried in Luka's arms she felt a sense of peace while he comforted her. This action opens her eyes on how she truly feels about Luka and that maybe, just maybe she can move on from Adrien. But that isn't the only thing she needs to worry about, now that Master Fu lost his memories and Marinette becomes the new guardian, she needs to take make decisions she never thought she would ever have to face.
