At 15, Jenna Adamson meets a guy she thinks could be the one. Their relationship proves to be volatile. When Jenna becomes pregnant just two years later, she's met with some serious challenging issues that follow her for years to come. She tries her hardest to be the best mom she can be to her son, but is constantly brought down by mental abuse at the hands of his manipulative and narcissistic father, Tommy Tyler.

Jenna grows stronger as she realizes she needs to be strong for her son as his father becomes increasingly more absent and emotionally disconnected. She is determined to be the best mother ever despite countless efforts made by her son's father to make her out to be the bad guy for HIS mistakes. Jenna finds her way out of the dark through a mixture of self-help books, mediation, and anti-depressants.
