"Being reunited with your childhood best friend after eight years apart? Sounds like a heart-warming story. Finding out that said best friend is now a complete jerk who's determined to make your life hell? Not so much." Georgie and Connor were once inseparable. Best friends from birth, they did everything together - well, that was until Connor's dad got a once-in-a-lifetime job opportunity and the family was forced to relocate to New York. At age sixteen, Georgie's life is totally different - her main goal being to keep her head down and escape the brutalities of high school with as little emotional scarring as possible. Balancing school, work and her dwindling social life is enough of a challenge, but it's about to get a bit more complicated when her conceited ex-best friend gets thrown into the mix. Maybe friendship should come with an instruction booklet.

"As I sat on the toilet, I realized how badass I was being. First of all, I (kind of) broke into Walmart; Second, I was (kind of) plotting to steal toilet paper; and third, I was doing all this while a hurricane was brewing outside." Ellie wanted a quick trip to Walmart to buy some toilet paper for her mom. A minute in, a minute out. Instead, she got locked in. With her secret love, of course.

Second book in the Trust Me trilogy. (This description is a spoiler if you haven't read the entirety of Trust Me yet) After finding out about the plot for her murder and that her boyfriend is really a fallen angel, Ash Mara feels as if her mind is unraveling. There are so many questions left unanswered, so many things that make her feel less than out of control of her life, and so much driving her insane. She's not sure she's able to handle it. Aidan is determined to prove that Samantha, Evan, and Lexa have the wrong girl. He's positive that Ash isn't who they think she is, which is why he takes Ash with him on a road trip to find her father. Something in her family's past will determine her future, and whether or not it will cease to exist. Safety is still out of reach with attacks on her life coming at every angle, threatening to stop her before she can even defend herself. It's all too much for her to handle--the rules keeping her and Aidan apart, the murder attempts, the mind games--to the point where she's not sure she wants any of it anymore. And once a very important trust is broken, she's left wide open and vulnerable, with protection being the last thing she's capable of.

All Ash Mara wants is to get her new Camaro, and her job as an undercover actress is exactly how she's going to get it. People will pay almost anything to have someone they love brought to them, whether it be for a drug intervention, surprise party, or even just a prank. It doesn't matter to the business Ash works for, as long as they get paid and don't have to do anything illegal. When two teens around Ash's age come in and offer to pay her 700 dollars to track down a senior named Aidan Fosco, Ash can't say no. Despite the warnings from her friends Persephone and Brady, Ash takes the job and does whatever it takes to lure in Aidan and get her pay. Luring in a guy with trust issues isn't always the easiest thing, but as soon as Ash figures out what he's hiding, everything seems to come crashing down around her. When did this become worth 700 dollars? She wouldn't even have done this if someone had offered her five brand new Camaros. Too bad it's too late. The damage is done. Her life is on the line. And though Aidan has become the very thing she hates, she has to depend on him to keep her safe.
