**IN THE PROCESS OF REWRITING** Katsuki Bakugo is a rebel, a loose canon a boy who will do anything to ensure his survival. That's the only way to describe the short tempered boy. After being caught in an unfortunate incident of theft he was thrown into a cold cell, fully prepared to sit in the miserable place until he were to rot, knowing that, despite his stubbornness, he had no chance of escaping. Kirishima Eijirou is much like Bakugo, a boy who isn't quite in the greatest of financial situations. Much different to our rebel Bakugo, Kirishima is kind- which he would claim to be manliness- and very much is an opposite in personality to Katsuki. Despite this, Kirishima can only do his best in the world he lives in and after a series of very unlucky accidents he is to- thrown in a cell. The land the two boys live in is unkind and ruled by a cruel King, one who gets pleasure by watching others pain. In a fit of cruelty this King throws the boys headfirst into a chain of fights for survival. The two must do their best to survive, and do, but what happens when the King noticed the friendship- and maybe more- blossoming between the boys. Will Bakugo live up to his standards of doing whatever it takes to survive or will he refuse? ----- Disclaimer- I do not own either of these characters or some of the characters within this story. Boarding school is bullshit. High School is bullshit, and Bakugou Katsuki wants nothing to do with it. Doesn't give a shit about grades or homework or any of that crap, and is more than tired of the damn principal breathing down his neck every second of the day. And to add a cherry on top of a the shit sundae that is high school, he gets reassigned rooms and ends up with a way-too-fucking enthusiastic Hair-for-Brains idiot who's probably got the biggest, dumbest smile he's ever seen. Of-fucking-course. ~ Kirishima's always been happy to meet people and make new friends. Needless to say, he's ecstatic when he's informed that he's <i>finally</i> getting assigned a roommate after a month of living alone in a dorm room. He's more than happy to welcome his new roommate with a smile and help him out with anything he needs. Shinsou hitoshi has worked hard to get into the hero course, but he is still reluctant to speak to people. He was transferred to class 1A, a good class, but shinsou still kept his distance. He refused to befriend others, but one student in particular seemed to not care about the barriers that shinsou set up between himself and his classmates. Perhaps shinsou would make a friend... or something more perhaps?

When Bakugo was a kid he had to deal with people telling him that because of his cocky, rude and impulsive attitude, no one would love him. He would have no friends. That he would be alone. And he carried that with him never telling anyone. So when college started, he stayed closed off and believed what he was told. And he stays that way. COMPLETED. This is a non-despair AU with a bullied Ishimaru. (Forgive me) I just really wanted to try to write them in a kind of relationship in which they don't like, hate each other, but they aren't too close either. Not exactly Ishimondo until the end. I hope they aren't too out of character but anyway I enjoyed writing this. I finally felt brave enough to publish one of my many Ishimondo fics. This was inspired by some imagine your OTP posts that I found. I'm not sure why I chose to publish this one though. The name of this fic was inspired by the song I'll Keep You Safe by Sleeping At Last. The chapter names will also be named after Sleeping At Last's songs. Warnings for swearing, fluff/(lime?) and possible whump. I don't own the game/anime or the characters except for the possible OC's.
