You weren't kidding when you said the story wasn't that predictable. Honestly, whenever a new twist came, I'd say it was familiar(because the sudden situation Ellie would find herself into is) but it still caught me very much off guard nonetheless. You had a knack for making me invested in one paragraph therefore surprising me in the next. I loved that. the thrill, the suspense, the shock and pain. And because you made it first person pov, the reader could relate or maybe even see themselves in Ellie's life. I am looking forward for the sequel.
