Well that's not the case when a bad shit crazy cultist escapes from a hospital and is set out to finish his job. While in the process, he somewhat exposes Davids to his co-counselor, sending everything into a big spiral. And a certain someone wanted to find out what he was hiding. Max has lived a hard life, and can't take any more abuse, so when camp is close to its end, David got rather suspicious that something might be going on with max. Max refuses to tell David, and in doing so goes back with his abusive family. Max then decides to leave his family after a painful beating he had received. He then runs away to find David.
