A short story based on love and loss

Everybody has always known Alex Morgan, the pretty, popular, talented captain of the soccer team at Diamond Bar High school, but nobody knew Y/N Harris, the girl that lived across the street from Alex, was equally as talented as the girl with the 13 on her back, but at the bottom of everything. Until Alex catches Y/N in her front yard, playing soccer with her friends, and blackmails her neighbor into trying out for the team, desparate for her team to actually win a game since her eighth grade year.

Christen is an assistant at Heath's Inc. She can't stand her job or her boss, Charles Pike, but she needs the money. One day she's finally had enough and ends up ranting in the elevator to a stranger who ends up to be no other than Tobin Heath. They run into each other several times after and Christen begins having a thing with the sexy CEO. Things begin to turn when they both begin to develop feelings for each other.
