The world that lies beyond the walls Jeanette has been caved within for so many years, is foreign. After moving into an enclosed community when she was younger without any reason and suffering through her mother's death because of an unknown disease, she starts to look for answers. What she uncovers leads her to believe that what she has been told is far from the truth, and she sets out to learn more. What she discovers is something that will never make it back to her home. She's awakened something large, and something unimaginably deadly. Jeanette is trapped outside the walls she had been trapped in and she has no other choice but to fight.
