Sometimes the people who smile the brightest are the most broken.... Endeavor looked around the conference room filled with his sidekicks. He took a quick mental headcount and frowned. The newest recruit, the UA student he'd offered a work study position to, was late. There was a faint pop above, causing everyone to look up as a petite girl with long snow-white hair and bright golden hued green eyes wearing a skin tight green accented silver bodysuit appeared out of thin air. She glanced downward and let out a squeak as she plummeted toward the ground. Sighing, Endeavor kicked a nearby plush rolling chair across the floor to break her fall. She toppled into the plush chair with a giggle that brought a smile to everyone's face. Her name was Ridley and she was a second year at UA. She had interned with his agency during her first year as a UA student. All of his sidekicks were surprised when he'd offered her to continue working with them. He was even considering offering her a full-time position as one of his sidekicks once she graduated from UA. No one expected him to like the bubbly energetic youth since he often came across as surly and far too serious whereas the youth seemed to be a little bit of an airhead. Ridley was almost never serious, there was always a bright happy smile on her face and everywhere she went she left laughter and smiles in her wake. She brightened everyone's days, spreading cheer and goodwill to all who crossed her path. Perhaps that was why Endeavor had decided to keep her, he wasn't immune to her charms though he rarely smiled she did cheer him up and give him hope. With her help, he might be able to learn to make amends with his family and maybe become a better hero. Tamaki Amajiki X OC

"I have one question for all of you. Do you think a villain become a hero?" Villains are criminals. They are not meant to become heroes. I think a villain becoming a Hero would be dangerous. What if they switched sides again? Even if they try to change, that doesn't mean they didn't do horrible things in the past. Villains are villains. You can't trust them. No, I don't. Heroes don't become villains. "That's all I needed to hear."

"Earlier, on the roof...what you said...?" She frowned slightly, "I'm not suicidal, if that's what you're getting at, I just thought you'd have an amusing reaction and I was right." Her delicate shoulders pulled into a shrug, drawing my gaze to her upper arm. Poking out under the sleeve of her short sleeved uniform shirt was a dark bruise from where I'd grabbed her. Guilt wormed through me, "It sounded like you meant what you said." "Oh, I did. Everyone here is awful." She shrugged as she slung her tattered black messenger bag over her shoulder and headed for the door. Her bright blue green eyes flicked in my direction as she paused at the door, "At least there's a fun uptight hall monitor I can torment." I groaned at this, "I'd appreciate it if you'd just follow the rules and stay out of trouble." "Where's the fun in that?" She winked at me before sashaying out the door.

Harper Rye can, to put it simply, read minds. It's not something she consciously does. Her quirk simply allows her to pick up people's thoughts, regardless of whether she wants to or not. The fact that she can't turn it off makes having such a power nearly unbearable. To make matters worse, she's somehow managed to fall under the radar of the super-genius principal of UA high, Nezu. He's sure there's a traitor amongst them, and is convinced Harper is the key to finding them and shutting them down. Plunged into a world she never wanted to be in, Harper finds herself on the fast track to becoming a hero, maybe managing to make some friends for once in her life, and quite possibly saving Japan from near-certain destruction.

Merfolk were the very foundation of Shota Aizawa's childhood. Growing up with an absentee mother and a father who worked hard to keep them comfortably afloat, Aizawa found himself growing up faster than most kids his age. Mature beyond his years, he still derived joy from the stories his father would tell him at night. Sitting on the end of his bed, his dad would spin tales of finned creatures who convened with dolphins and wrestled sharks. Shimmering scales and magic that surpassed what was thought to be possible with quirks alone. Stories of seashell hoards and kingdoms built of colorful coral and carefully polished stone. It was one of the few things Shota could look back on and smile. The mere mention of them brought a light feeling to his chest and a shine to his eyes. Though, he never would've thought those myths could be true. (I do NOT own the cover art)

What if this person had run away from home because all the people she knew just wanted to befriend her for her quirk? What if this person started to get chased down by villians who knew that any human that was turned completely into gold would die? What if this person was forced to fight on the villain's side in the infamous USJ break in? OC X Hitoshi Shinso [PREVIEW] ~Shinso's POV~ Age-14 Flashback: (Age 6) All the kids I used to hang out with shied away from me after my quirk appeared. Kids I once called friends treated me like a pariah. I sat on the beach watching all the other kids my age laugh and play in the shallows. Anytime I tried to join in, they'd all scream and run away, afraid I'd use my quirk on them. Biting my lip, trying to keep myself together, trying to convince myself I didn't need friends, I dug in the sand with my flimsy plastic shovel trying to build a sand castle. A bright blue sand castle mold appeared in front of my face. I glanced upward and spotted a little girl around my age with long mint green pigtails and bright eyes that seemed to shift from lapis lazuli to violet smiling at me. She extended the sand castle mold to me with a shy smile. "Aren't you afraid of me?" I asked her curiously as I reached for the sand castle mold.

"My thanks." He says, smiling back. "What is your name, boy?" "I'm Izuku! Izuku Midoriya, sir!" The boy replies, excited, looking up at him. And Toshinori looks into the unmoving washed out green, into milky white pupils visible behind the mess curly hair, and realizes. The boy is blind. The boy that he distinctly saw dodge a series of fairly quick attacks, light on his feet and clearly used to some kind of training, the boy that had thrown him the bottle at the perfect height and perfect speed, the boy that has easily collected his spilled groceries and orderly put them back into the little plastic bag- The boy. Is blind. ---------------------------- This story belongs to @NohaIjiachi on AO3. This is posted with their full consent, and I don't claim any part of it. I hope you enjoy reading!
