After Danny and Danielle get captured by The GIW they are experiment on Danny soon trying to hurt Dani but the older halfa doesn't allow it and protects his daughter even if he is in pain. The Young Justice get a mission from the league to go and get information about the GIW but what they found shocked everyone.

Danny Fenton always knew. He's kept it secret since day one, too afraid to tell his friends and family. Who would believe him? No, it was better to keep it secret, and let his friends believe that he was okay. It was better for them to think he was just a freak kid with ghost powers. Except he wasn't. The accident did more than give him powers - it took his life.

His parents would understand, right? They wouldn't hate him over something like this, would they? Sure, they might be a little angry that he kept it hidden for so long, but after that, it would be okay, right? He could finally confide in them with everything he knew about ghosts, he could help them with their research, without suspicion. He wouldn't have to constantly come up with excuses for why he was so injured after fighting ghosts- maybe they could even help him! They could finally be that ghost-hunting family his parents dreamed of. Right? He was wrong. Oh God, he was so very wrong. (Should be updated every other week, I'll develop a schedule eventually.)

Danny gets home late on Halloween and ends up grounded. Sneaking out to Sam's party doesn't seem like such a bad idea, he had to go figure out what ghost was setting off the alarms anyway.
