Selozar has finally managed to escape AloneTraveler with Albert, after finding out his 'friend', Uleanra, had been murdered by Alone. It has been years since they had escaped. But Selozar feels Different. This feeling causes him to write in his diary. However, Alone finds something on a rainy night. Not something plain, and ordinary. Something that changed his life forever. Some may even say for the better.

Operatives are only supposed to feel one emotion; the one they're assigned to. A familiar boy spends a month in the city with the others as one of the operatives realizes he's beginning to feel more emotions than they should.

The infection has spread to every single day, clouding what is the most important to them. Radiant begins exhibiting strange behavior, especially toward the civilians. Albert is the Days Unions last hope to try and find a cure and Radiant is his test subject.
