As the eldest son of the chieftain he was tasked with protecting the village when his father left to aid in the war. As an older brother, he has to take care of his younger siblings Sokka and Katara. After their mother was killed, too much changed. He didn't have time for fun and games with war on their borders. To keep his remaining family safe he had to close off his heart and train relentlessly for the battle he knew they'd face eventually. The Avatar wasn't coming back. Or at least, that's what Ayaan thought, until a bald kid with blue arrows showed up.

Fire, air, water, and earth are the four elements. There are only two people in the whole world who have the ability to bend these four elements. The Chie and the Avatar. The Avatar was created to bring balance to the world, and not too soon after the Chie was created to bring balance to the Avatar. The First Avatar, Wan, combined the Avatar's spirit, Raava, with his dying lover's soul. This act created a new spirit named Zhījǐ, ever since then the Avatar and the Chie's souls have been intertwined. It's destiny that an Avatar and Chie would end up together... and destiny cannot be changed no matter what.

Things had officially gone to shit. With the guilt of Princess Yue's death on (Y/n)'s mind, she finds it conflicting to come to terms with her feelings about Sokka. Paired with more shocking revelations, she realizes things aren't going to get easier for her. They learn to live with their choices and play with the hand the universe deals them, and that they cannot change what has happened. They go forward with the knowledge that they know better now. They keep walking, getting up when they fall. They let go of the fears of their pasts to become the best version of the person they are. Or, Aang plays match-maker against his friends, Katara has to keep cleaning up their messes, Sokka is more protective, (Y/n) is exhausted. Note-Sokka is 17-18 years here instead of being younger.

You, the reader, woke up on a ship and discovered that you had been transported to the Avatar universe. You have to work with the GAng and figure out your past while traveling the world. But things are different. This isn't like the show, and you realize that you are the only one who can fix things. You find love, too, I guess. (I swear this has been troubling me for months. I keep thinking of that jackass Sokka and I just can't do anything else, so I decided to write this book until the feeling wears off.)
