Lily Potter geborene Evans kam am 30. Januar 1960 mit magischem Blut zu Welt. Zehn Jahre lang wuchs sie in dem Glauben auf ein normales Mädchen zu sein. Doch sie konnte Dinge tun, die andere nicht tun konnten. Ihre einzige Schwester Petunia nannte sie aufgrund ihrer seltenen Fähigkeiten oft ein „Missgeburt". Mit elf Jahren bekam sie einen Brief von der Hogwarts Schule für Hexerei und Zauberei, in dem sie erfuhr das sie eine Hexe war. Bis zu ihrem achtzehnten Lebensjahr besuchte sie Hogwarts, wo sie auch ihren späteren Mann kennenlernte: James Potter. Sehr früh, nachdem Lily die Schule verlassen hatte heiratet sie James Potter und gründete mit ihm eine Familie, in Godric's Hollow. Am 28. Juli 1980 brachte sie ihrer beider Sohn Harry James Potter zu Welt. Lily Potter starb am 31. Oktober 1981 an der Wiege ihres Sohnes, als sie sich durch dem Todesfluch ihrem Sohn Harry opferte und somit seines und viele weitere Leben vor dem dunklen Zauberer, ihrem Mörder, Lord Voldemord rettete.

Lily Evans is entering her final year at Hogwarts. As the outside world is attacked by Death Eaters, Lily's world changes left and right. Many things happen unexpectedly, like her sudden friendship with James Potter. Lily must stay strong to get through the year and make sure she stays focused, but Potter may make that a problem. At least she only thinks of him as a friend...right?
