Dean has left Cas in desperation. The war had scarred him and it had scarred him bad. With Cas now out of his life, he's even more lost than he was before. I decided to write an alternative ending that wouldn't leave me soaked in my own tears. My writing may not be as fantastic as the original but I'll attempt it. Mainly just happy stuff because I was told I owe it to my readers to give them something happy. So, here goes nothing.

Ten years old, that's when it's decided, at midnight the minute you turned ten, a name appears on your right wrist. For Castiel and Dean neither knew wether they would meet their soulmate. Castiel hid his and Dean was ashamed of his. Dean has a secret, he can't get close to anybody in fear of them dying, because the monsters are always there, and they hurt everybody he loves. Castiel doesn't know monsters exist, he refuses to believe they exist, demons, vampires and werewolves, they're all stories, until he's proven wrong, he will alway believe that.

A/N- Despite all the crap I put my characters through, every story I write has a happy ending, because the characters deserve it. So, don't fret too much about the depressing things that happen in this. This is the sequel of Angel with a Shotgun. If you haven't read it, I suggest you do so before moving onto this one. The Novak's and Winchester's lives are going amazing. Dean and Castiel are finally able to adopt their first child, and Sam, Gabriel, and Lucifer's children are as happy as could be. Until now. Castiel is forced to join the assassin clan as the Novak replacement, Dean is police officer, all of them are facing discrimination everywhere, and Lucifer just might destroy the world.
