"If the world can't handle the truth, give them a spectacular lie." Bitch. That's what they called me at my old school. I disagree: I'm just brutally honest, that's all. Some people don't like honesty. Exhibit A: Matthew's family. None of them want to acknowledge that their Golden Boy is gay. Exhibit B: My Mother. I only told her the truth: that she was a crappy parent who never should've gotten knocked up in the first place. But she was so offended that she shipped me off to my fabulously wealthy father and his walking-billboard-for-plastic-surgery of a wife. So I devised a brilliant plan. My new friend Matthew was sick of hiding his sexuality. I was tired of obnoxious rich boys hitting on me. So why not pretend to be dating? He wouldn't have to answer uncomfortable questions anymore, and I'd enter my new school as the girlfriend of the star quarterback. It should be easy, right? Of course, I didn't plan on falling for Matthew's brother.

"Anna dislikes being stuck three-quarters of the way down a chimney. She really does. Not to mention, she's still going round North America, and there's, like, three continents still to get through in about as many hours."

[Now free to read!] Scott Wilson isn't used to being corrected, and he definitely didn't expect to get his biggest dose of criticism by his coach's daughter - Elle Monroe. ***** When Scott Wilson is drafted to try out for the Marlies hockey team, it's easily the best day of his life. He's cocky and for good reason. He's spent his entire life being told that he's a hockey prodigy and he knows that he's on the path to his destiny. Then Elle Monroe shows up, and throws off his entire plan. Elle - the daughter of his coach - is loud, rude, confident, and gets a special kick out of knocking Scott down a peg or two. Scott doesn't want to accept the help she's offering, but eventually he does, and it turns into a lot more than he was expecting. Scott isn't used to a lot of things, but there's one especially that he's never prepared for: a beautiful, loud girl stealing his jersey every day before their practices. Sixteen-year-old Opal might be everything you hate in a person. She's snobby, conceited, and has more popularity than she knows what to do with in her sunny and densely populated Florida city. In contrast, Jack, nicknamed "Alaska" by Opal in regards to the quiet Alaskan town where he resides, is sweet, caring, and compassionate. The two are complete opposites in almost every way. When Opal is whisked away to some unheard of town in Alaska to spend spring break with her older brother and brand new and annoying stepsister, she is not happy. After all, spring break is a time to tan and lay by the pool, not freeze in the snow as you only get paler. But things get even more complicated when an accident leaves Opal and Jack lost in the middle of nowhere with nothing more than a survival backpack and each other. Though the two were brought together by chance and they disagree on practically everything, they now must rely on each other if they want to get back in one piece. With constant battles being thrown their way that seem nearly impossible to overcome, confessions that are bound to be unleashed, and the blossoming promise of second chances, there is no telling what lies ahead for these two. They only have one mission: find their way back to civilization in time before it's too late.

This is the story of how Emily Albert met Oliver Dobson in a bookstore. The two bibliophiles collided amidst the shelves of unturned pages, and from there it’s really just another textbook romance. Emily is an introvert who isn’t very good at talking. Oliver happens to be a rather skilled conversationalist. Emily has had enough with boys. Oliver is willing to try and convince her that not all boys are the same. With their mutual love of books, the two begin one of the oddest friendships ever formed. And through it, the truth about books and boys is uncovered once and for all.

What can a slave girl do when she's but a pawn in a game of kings? Sent to infiltrate the enemy kingdom as the new bride of the King of Palandyre, Cinclair has only one goal in mind: the prize is her freedom, the price is his life, and the task is murder. But the man she must kill ignites in her a fire she cannot quench, sends her blood racing with the first flash of his grin and the tilt of his brow, and it feels like a dagger in her gut to see him falling for a mask she wears and the lies she's spun, because one more day his passion grows means one less day that he may live. As stakes climb higher and the war drums pound louder outside the castle walls, the hour of his death draws unforgivably near. But the heart cannot kill what the heart beats for... and her heart beats for his. [ cover by @VaineLuchia ]
