My best friend Halo once told me that people come into your life for a reason. They may not stay forever, but your life is forever changed because they touched it. I didn't know if that was true, and I suspected she was quoting one of her many poetry books, but I thought it was a nice idea. I am the entertainer And I know just where I stand Another serenader And another long haired band Today I am your champion I may have won your hearts But I know the game, you'll forget my name And I won't be here in another year If I don't stay on the charts ***Author's Note*** Dear Friends: Welcome to my new fan fiction! I just wanted to take a moment to write a little note, giving you some idea about this story. In The Entertainer, Harry is still Harry Styles, but he's not the Harry Styles we know today. He's Harry Styles, 70s rockstar. So in a way, it's an alternate universe, but one I think the real Harry fits in very well. This will not be a full chaptered fic, but it will be longer than a short story. Each chapter or part will be fairly short, sort of the length of one of my usual one shots, but compiled together will make a full story, or mini fic. This story also will contain many music references and song lyrics. There will be times when listening to (or at least already knowing) a song might be essential. I'll keep you posted. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the journey! Thanks for reading. -Courtney xo

In the last year, Joanne Smith Giles, has once again become Jo Smith. In another heartbreaking turn of events, she's also the single mother of an infant, again. She knows she can do this on her own, and better at 40 than 19, but it seems weird to be launching a son into manhood, a new career as an art professor, and changing nappies all in one day. She is so thankful when Ethan, her boy, comes home from Uni. Jo could use the help. His best friend, Harry, comes round too. And his launch into manhood may be another heartbreaking turn, for all of them
