Nico di Angelo is a forensic pathologist, well, training to be one. He spends his days examining dead bodies and learning how they died. Pretty cool, right? Will Solace is training to be a nurse. His goal is to prevent as many bodies from needing to be examined as possible. He wanted to save people. When these two move in together, many adventures follow, because honestly, what else can you expect when two complete opposites try to coexist? Nico è un angelo neutrale, non si è schierato nè con il Paradiso nè con l'Inferno quando Lucifero si ribellò. Lui è convinto che l'amore non possa risolvere i problemi, che non ci si possa sacrificare per una persona e che nessuno potrà conquistare il suo cuore. Le sue convinzioni verranno messe a dura prova quando sarà costretto a passare un anno sulla Terra: se troverà il vero amore potrà ritornare in Paradiso, se non si innamorerà di nessuno dovrà schierarsi con l'Inferno.
