Death is only the beginning... For as long as anyone can remember, there have been legends of Atlantis. A city that shone. A city that fell. A city that vanished into the sea never to be seen again. Until now. Aubrey Winters is your typical geeky librarian- at least, she was until she died. Waking up inside a casket was never how she planned her life going - she had plans. Well, maybe not plans unless you counted reading through a TBR pile. Still, she sure as hell didn't want to die. When an accident ends her life prematurely, Aubrey finds herself plunged into a whole new world. A world of blood, of battles, and of beasts. Forced from her quiet life, Aubrey must learn to fight with courage, honour, and loyalty to survive. She must become Atlantian or die trying.

The lives of the people surrounding this forest relied on my persistence... if I could only will my strength to reach him. I lifted my hands, took a deep breath, and directed all my force towards him. Time seemed to stop. My mind was straining, my body was tensing, but my heart would not let go. The world around me rose rapidly in temperature, and I heard a pained yell. Victory was mine. ~ Have you ever wondered what happens within the borders of the Bermuda Triangle? Or how the massive Polynesian heads were molded on Easter Island? Or how different formations like Giant's Causeway and Fingal's Cave were created? There are so many mysteries this earth offers us. What if all these mysteries were the handiwork of a covert yet very present group of people, hidden from our modern eyes? What if the weather patterns, geological creations, and ancient enigmas were the masterpiece of these people, but they didn't want you to know? Welcome to Stoicheia, the underground group of Elemental tribes. These people live within our modern society, but we have no clue they exist, despite the countless stories written about them through the ages. No human has ever heard a fully factual account of an Elemental- until now.
